NTIDEinfo is a small freeware utility which shows info about IDE drives installed on your system.
It works only on Windows NT and does not require admin privileges to run.
I've developed and tested it on Windows NT 4.0 (sp4, sp5), NT5 (aka W2K).
Here is sample output produced by NTIDEinfo:
